We collect only what we need to do business with you:

• Your name, company, email, phone number and message, when you use our contact form.
• Your name and phone number, when you message us on WhatsApp.
• Order, delivery and billing details, when we prepare quotes or process orders.
• Basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our website host for security.
• Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics through Umami, our cookieless analytics service. This data — such as which pages are viewed — is not linked to you and cannot be used to identify you.

2. How we collect it

• Through the contact form on this website.
• When you contact us by WhatsApp, email, phone or fax.
• Through normal business dealings — quotes, orders and trade shows.
• Through our website host's standard server logs.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to your inquiries.
• To prepare quotes and confirm product specifications.
• To process orders, deliveries and export documents.
• To keep business and accounting records.
• To meet our legal duties.
• To improve our website and service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only where needed:

• Formspree, which processes our contact form. Form data is handled on their servers, which may be outside Malaysia.
• Netlify, which hosts this website.
• Umami, our privacy-focused analytics service, which measures anonymous, aggregated site usage without cookies and without collecting personal data.
• WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to chat with us there. Their own privacy policy applies.
• Freight and logistics partners, to deliver your orders.
• Banks and payment providers, to process transactions.
• Professional advisers, regulators or authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside Malaysia. We choose providers that protect data properly, and the PDPA rules on overseas transfers apply.

5. Consent

By sending us the contact form or messaging us, you consent to us using your data for the purposes above.

If you give us personal data about someone else — for example, a colleague — you confirm that you have their permission.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to sales@jayanets.com.

6. Cookies

Our website does not set tracking cookies, and our analytics service (Umami) is cookieless. The Google Maps window on our Contact page may set cookies from Google. See our Cookie Policy for details.

7. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as the law requires — for example, tax and accounting records. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No internet transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect what you send us.

9. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you can:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Withdraw your consent.
• Ask us to limit how we process it.
• Complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia.

10. Providing data is voluntary

You are not required to give us your personal data. But without it, we may not be able to reply to you or prepare a quote.

11. Children

This website is for business buyers. It is not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Links to other websites

Our site links to Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp. This notice does not cover those websites. Please check their own privacy policies.

We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date above.

14. Language

This notice is issued in English. A Bahasa Malaysia version will be made available. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails.
