Overview
A safety net is hung below or beside a work area to catch falling tools, debris and offcuts before they reach people or property underneath.
You may also know it as a debris net, a heavy duty catching net or a construction safety catching net. It is the same net, and it is used well beyond construction — in factories and warehouses, at shipyards and ports, on bridge and tower maintenance, and as a barrier along gangways, walkways and open edges. Anywhere something can fall onto people or equipment below, this net does the job.
We make each net to order: 4 mm HDPE twine, 2" x 2" mesh, and the width and length you ask for. All four sides are finished with 12 mm PE rope so the net can be tied off and tensioned at your fixing points. The mesh is UV-stabilised for long outdoor use. For welding and other hot work, we make a fire-retardant version.
The standard net is built to catch falling objects. If your job needs a net certified to arrest a person’s fall, tell us at quotation stage — third-party testing and certification can be arranged on request.
Ordering direct from the manufacturer keeps quality consistent across a large site and makes reorders simple.
